Welcome Message
Welcome to the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at UCR, one of the youngest such departments in the country. Our faculty and graduate students conduct research at the cutting edge of science and technology, regularly publishing in the very top journals and conferences, and winning contracts and grants from some of the most competitive and prestigious programs in the country.
There are many funding opportunities available for graduate students. Our graduate students attend conferences, publish papers, and regularly obtain summer internships in major research labs such as Lawrence Livermore National Lab, I.B.M. T. J. Watson Lab, Intel, and QUALCOM. When they graduate, they receive jobs in industry, government, and academia. For more information, please visit https://www.ee.ucr.edu/ece-ucr- difference
